Answers are not in the book. i was disappointed that I could not compare my answers with the book.
I don't study in these terms. This was a good book to study using case studies, though, if you were going to do it. It was helpful in thinking through how different processes can effect people in different ways. It was really helpful for some of the more complex concepts but I didn't start using it until near the end of nursing school because my teacher made me. I wish I had used it more. It is one of those things that you don't use every time for everything but as a supplement to things that really confuse you. I would recommend it, though.
The book itself is a great resource. I do wish there was a solution guide for it, but that would just be a great addition.My complaint with this book is with amazon. I clearly ordered and paid for a new book. When I received the book I initially looked at it and knew that there was no way it was NEW new, but I needed it quickly for some case studies for a group I was doing, flipped through and didn't notice anything standing out and so brushed it off. I started answering a couple of the case studies, writing, when I got a little farther into the book, I clearly found a case study that was completely filled out. Not a big deal when you think about it. At this point I will continue to use it because I already filled out some of the case studies of my own, but irritating that I paid for a new book and got a used one instead.

I wish there was a section in the back that provided answer justifications otherwise this is a good tool to have for nursing school.
No answers make it difficult for students to check their work and it makes it labor intensive for faculty to have to write answers for every single case study.
Always a big help. Just wish they could incorporate some of the older drugs that are still being used.
