Don't get sucked in! This is part of a serial, not just a series! It's a good story, well written, believable characters. However, just when it's getting interesting, the heroine learns her mother has had a terrible accident and the "book" ends! I won't bother reading the rest of this series and may not bother with this author again! Big disappointment!
Overall it was a slow read, sentence flow was awkward at times. The characters aren't interesting, somewhat boring at times. I gave it 3 stars for effort. First kiss and sexual interaction came out of nowhere. The main characters aren't developed adequately to entice their appeal to the reader.
Not a great read. Did not seem to be the equivalent of 308 pages. Cliffhanger.
My my,my Charoltte has done ot again with another winning SERIES I was given as an ARC so not giving away much except thia book is awesome keeps your interest going and yes leaves you hanging looking to see what's coming in next book which I know I am. I'm a very big fan of Charoltte and if you liked her black series than again knowing this is a 5 book series. You will have a lot to enjoy. Happy reading
I received this book as an ARC for my honest review. WOW what a start to I am sure what will be another amazing series. The story is well written and you will not be able to put it down. Emotional, Steamy with Hot Chemistry. Twists that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Charlotte's books make you feel the power in the story. A great start to another fantastic series.
This is my first book by Ms. Byrd - and it is so well written. Normally I don't read series - but I am so invested in this one already. There will be 5 books - and can't wait. This story begins with the background of Jackson and Harley - only known to themselves. Please read this series - you won't be disappointed.
Jackson and Harley are two broken people brought together by a chance meeting. They both have anxiety problems and huge secrets that can destroy their lives and those around them. They are attracted to each other and are set on a path that could lead to enormous success or epic disaster.
As always Charlotte doesn’t disappoint. loved loved loved this book and can’t wait for the next one to come out. If you haven’t gotten it walk quickly and get it. It won’t disappoint.
