About the Author
Images of America: Crookston was compiled and written by Kristina Gray, a Crookston native. For more than 15 years, she lived and taught English in China, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. I received my book so fast. Couldn't believe the service. The book itself is great. My mom and her siblings and parents lived in Crookston and I lived there in the late 40's with my parents and brother. My great grandfather owned the Bangen Photo Studio so it was great to see pictures and references to it. Fun to look at and try to remember my early days there and when we would visit in later years. Good job Kristina.
I haven't read this yet but I was raised/grew up in Crookston so was so happy to see this book and am happy it is part of my library now!!
I'm a lifelong resident of nearby Fisher and Kristina's book conjures up so many fond recollections and dreams of the days gone by. A treasure trove of pictures and history of a grand city.
I am really enjoying this book of my hometown! The old pictures are fantastic! So much work went into this to bring Crookston to life back in the 1900's! The history of my hometown is worth every penny!
